In 2020, she played the role of Viola, the title character’s grandmother in the Nickelodeon sitcom Young Dylan created by Tyler Perry.

Aloma’s role on Scrubs was written out of the show when they awaited it to be canceled, when it was rather renewed, she was written back on with a new character. She appeared in over 260 Days of Our Lives episodes between 2008 and 2015.
